The setup
The story starts two nights before a wedding. The bride has decided she wants the best man rather than the marriage, and she is direct about it.
That is the complication the whole series runs on: a wedding still scheduled, a bride who has changed her mind, and a best man who is supposed to be standing next to the groom in forty-eight hours.
