What happens in it
A stepmother has an invitation to an exclusive gala and no date. Her husband is stuck at work, so she puts her stepson in one of his father's suits and takes him instead.
The guests assume the two of them are married. She does not correct anyone, and by the end of the evening she has stopped treating the assumption as a joke.
